This aerohydroponic system from GrowStream Terra Aquatica is designed for growing 10 plants designed .

  • Dimensions: 1.09 x 0.49 x 0.57 meters.
  • Weight: 14 kg.
  • 45 litre tank.
  • Syncra 1.0 pump 16 W – 950 l/h – maximum height: 1.5 m – pump connection diameter: 13/18 mm.

Benefits of the GrowStream growing system:

  • Control the nutrition of your plants to achieve optimal results at every stage of development and meet the physiological needs of each plant.
  • Constant access to the roots to check the health of the plants at any time.
  • Water saving and therefore cost saving: All water is consumed by your plant, saving an estimated 80% of water compared to growing the same plants in the ground .
  • Conservation of fertilizer (used in its entirety: less loss) and preservation of uncontaminated soils.
  • Better health and faster growth of plants, which can reduce the use of herbicides (useless here) and other pesticides.

Operating principles of the GrowStream Terra Aquatica system:

Growstream® are aero-hydroponic systems with active circulation: the water is enriched by continuous air circulation in a closed circuit with limited release into the environment, ensuring water savings and limiting pollutant emissions
.

The design is simple: white plastic tubes and UV-resistant covers (to reflect light) with double walls for better light and heat insulation, with removable cover, also with double walls, are drilled to
Use growing pots (basket pots) which are filled with a handful of clay balls or an equivalent drainage substrate and serve as physical support for the plants.

The size of the gutters allows you to create plenty of space for root development and accommodate more water volume, making it one of the few systems on the market that is also suitable for growing large plants .

In the chamber or gutter, a plastic pipe distributes the nutrient solution through nozzles whose vortexes enrich the solution with oxygen. The job of the nozzles is to mix the nutrient solution and thus enrich it with oxygen (and not to water every pot). Their number is calculated to offer an optimal compromise between the need to supply oxygen and limiting the pump power and thus the power consumption.

The culture chambers flow into a tank, which varies in size depending on the system type, which contains the pump that sucks the solution through a filter to inject it back into the system.

These pumps should run continuously during the day but can be turned off at night to save electricity, except in hot weather when it is advisable to leave them running.

These systems provide maximum oxygenation: through the vortexes created by the nozzles, through contact with the air as the solution moves in the culture chamber, and again as it returns to the tank by gravity and oxygenates with the drain.

Terra Aquatica-Logo

GHE: (General Hydroponics Europe) changes its name to Terra Aquatica®. The quality of its range of 100% organic fertilizers, additives and growth and flowering stimulants remains the same, except for the name. TA (Terra Aquatica) even returns with a new organic and ecological substrate and relaunches its famous "Bio Bud" bloom booster under a new name: Bloom Booster.
